The other day Asher said to me, "Jesus is ONLY for the cross." I was trying to figure out where he came up w/ that piece of knowledge, when I remebered the song we often sing to him when we want him to stand up so we can pull his jeans/PJ bottoms up. "Stand up, stand up, for Jesus, ye soldiers of the cross."
Apparently we don't enunciate well enough, b/c he seems to think it's "Stand up, stand up for Jesus, he's only for the cross!"
Ha! That is cute. Funny, I sing that same little song when I am trying to get my little ones to stand up, but couldnt remember how the last part went, I would just mumble something. You know "Stand up, stand up for Jesus, something something cross" Now I know, and will make sure to enunciate the words.
